What is the story behind the Team Name?
Well, we have a E (Emily), an A (Alex), and an M (Marge), sadly, no T. :(
How do you know each other?
Alex and Emily are siblings and Marge and Emily are roomates and second best friends.
Why did you decide to do the Amazing New York Race?
Marge found out about it and we needed something fun so we could have a 2011 restart weekend. All of our beginnings to 2011 were crummy so we restarted it. It was a great way to welcome in the New Year, a few months later :). BTW, our years are going a lot better now.
What was your favorite part?
Our favorite part was when we found an older couple to kiss for us. Turns out though they only spoke French and between the 3 of us we speak a little spanish and some esperanto. So we gestured what we wanted them to do and after they agreed to do it we then had to explain that not only did we want them to kiss and to take a picture of them doing so, but we also wanted to be in the picture. It was hysterical! We also loved running around like lunatics in the city.
Would you recommend it?
